Researcher in the field of energy efficient and comfortable building’s envelopes
Location: Bozen/Bolzano | Employment type: Full-time

Responsibilities
- Model, test and measure the performance of different envelope technologies, components and whole façade systems for comfortable and efficient buildings
- Define metrics and indicators for characterising the performance of advanced building envelope systems
- Study and develop envelope technological solutions
- Manage specific research tasks and work autonomously with regular reporting to the line manager
Requirements
- Technical master degree (Engineering, Physics or equivalent)
- Knowledge of building physics
- Knowledge of building modelling and simulations tools (e.g., TRNSYS, EnergyPlus or equivalent) for comprehensive evaluation of performance including energy demand and indoor conditions across different configurations
- Data analysis with Python (e.g., Pandas)
- Experience with Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) is a plus
- Ability to carry out tasks autonomously with constant collaboration with the line manager and team
- Excellent written and spoken English; knowledge of Italian or German is a plus
