The R&D office in Rome is seeking a Research Engineer, whose primary role will be to contribute to the development of new products’ concepts, supporting research activities as a member of the team.
What We Are Looking For
Education
• University degree in Engineering
Experience
• Up to 3 years of professional experience
Required skills
• Knowledge of motorcycles engineering
• Knowledge of CATIA software or equivalent
• Understanding of the two-wheelers market
• Basic knowledge of statistics, including data analysis
• Strong Excel skills and experience with data analysis software
• Familiarity with office automation tools
• Knowledge of Copilot and AI-enabled applications
Soft skills
• Genuine passion for two-wheel vehicles and mobility in general
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team
• Enthusiasm, initiative, and creativity
Job description
The Research Engineer will support research activities by combining analytical and creative thinking to help shape future Honda products. The role involves contributing to product concept development, generating insights related to model reputation and value perception.
The position also requires translating analytical findings into clear and effective output, such as reports and communication materials, while supporting the team through structured data analysis and the use of modern, AI-enabled tools.
Furthermore, the Research Engineer will work on 2D and 3D models for new vehicles' proposals.
