Research Consultant, Italy

We help strategize tactics and communications that focuses on patient health outcomes and the concepts of patient-centricity.

The Research Consultant at Avant Health will be tasked with managing various primary and secondary research initiatives globally, supporting Pharma/Biotech and other industry partners. The full-time position will be remote, ideally based in Italy .

The key responsibilities include:

• Manage and execute mid-to-large scale non-interventional studies (NIS), and small scale Phase-3 clinical trials
• Create study documents, including research protocols and questionnaires and facilitate ethics reviews
• Manage study sites/centers on a day-to-day basis, including site onboarding, training, and remote site management in an assigned region within Europe
• Manage CTMS and EDC platforms
• Engage and communicate effectively with clients and research centers
• Conduct literature reviews on various scientific and business topics
• Create research reports and other documents in PPT and MS Word formats
• Create abstracts, posters, manuscripts

Critical Qualifications:

• A minimum of bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant scientific discipline
• A minimum of 2 years of prior clinical research experience, ideally in a CRO or hospital setting
• A minimum of 2 years of experience with research site monitoring/management, ideally in a CRO setting
• Native-level proficiency in Italian

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Proficient in project management skills
• Hands-on experience in managing/using CTMS and EDC portals
• Strong technical or business writing skills, and communication skills
• Familiar with scientific literature search/evaluations
• Data analytic skills
