REGENESIS, the global leader in in-situ remediation solutions, is seeking a multilingual individual with a relevant degree to join our team as Remediation Solutions Specialist, responsible for the sales activities within the Mediterranean District.

This position is based in Italy and there will be requirements for frequent travel within Italy and abroad.


ABOUT REGENESIS

REGENESIS specializes in research, development, and commercialisation of scientifically proven products and services for groundwater and soil remediation at contaminated sites. Our clients include leading environmental consulting, engineering, and construction firms worldwide.


ABOUT THE ROLE

Responsible for the sales activities within the Mediterranean District, including attending contaminated land and remediation conferences, conducting meetings and presentations at client offices, as well as online meetings and webinars. As part of the District team; implement expansion of business by identifying new leads and clients, find new projects and develop an understanding of the commercial and technical requirements for each project. Assist colleagues in designing and pricing solutions as needed, to support the sales and project delivery within the District. This position is based in Italy and there will be requirements for frequent travel within Italy and abroad. This position reports directly to the Mediterranean District Manager and has no line management responsibilities.


Territory

The Mediterranean District includes mainly Italy but also Spain, and with some work in France and Switzerland as needed.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales Activities

Cover the role of Regenesis’ ambassador within the District, raising awareness and interest towards the company with existing and new clients.

  • Sales meetings to clients (in presence and virtual): short introductory meetings, 30-60 min presentations on company products and services, site specific project meetings
  • Complete initial evaluation of projects/’opportunities’ and/or assist the District Manager in doing so
  • Assist Proposal Manager in existing opportunity follow-up activities
  • Work with Sales Team Regional Manager to implement company-wide campaigns and messaging
  • Complete presentations at conferences or in webinars
  • Attend stands at trade shows/conferences
  • Attend conferences/local fora/professional body meetings as required.


Marketing Activities

Assist Marketing in the preparation of: case studies, webinars, slide decks, eNewsletters, articles, papers, videos, translations, support in the expansion of contact database


Technical Services Activities

Where needed, provide Technical Remediation Design Services activities for lower complexity sites, such as petroleum hydrocarbons.

  • Evaluate site data provided by client and ‘qualification’ (review of client requirements) from the District Manager
  • Complete further technical qualification with the client
  • Calculate dosage, produce design and discuss commercial aspects with District Manager
  • Write and send quality proposals to client
  • Complete initial follow up with the client, one week after sending proposal (all proposals)
  • Review project data and provide feedback on performance to clients as required
  • Replicate same activity for other districts of Europe Region, where required.


Field Activities

As required, make site visits to ensure application is being completed correctly by clients.


Training

Complete ongoing training and continual professional development (CPD)


CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • Experience in contaminated land sector
  • University degree in a relevant subject (Environmental Sciences, Hydrogeology, Geology)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Italian mother language
  • English proficiency level
  • Spanish proficiency level advantageous
  • Other European languages also advantageous
  • Car driving licence
  • Strong computer skills: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint etc)
  • Organised and able to work to deadlines
