Job description: The intern will support the Remarketing Team in achieving business targets by managing activities related to the end‑of‑contract phase for rental and leasing vehicles. Under the guidance of the Sales & Administration Team, the intern will primarily focus on administrative and after‑sales processes for vehicles owned by VW Bank and VW Leasing.
Role and duty
The intern will support the Remarketing Team in the following activities:
- Administration of buy‑back sales (RAC vehicles) to the National Sales Company (VGI)
- Support in dealer management processes
- Confirmation and communication of winners (local process)
- Payment control and monitoring
- Credit checks on buyers (local process)
- Release of sold vehicles (local process)
- Request for ownership transfer and invoicing (local process)
- Assistance in back office operations (e.g. self‑billing, visura, customer data update, …)
- Communication and coordination with buyers
- Complaint management (local and second‑level VTI process)
- Monitoring buyer satisfaction
- Support to other VTI Italy activities
- Management of wrecks
- Support in B2C processes
Required Competencies
- Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel – at least intermediate level).
- Passion for and knowledge of the automotive world
- Good command of the English language
- An interest in AI and emerging technologies is appreciated
