Job Overview

We maintain and optimise technologies in the Global Amazon Warehouse & Delivery Network. The role focuses on planned preventative maintenance that raises equipment availability and quality. Work includes troubleshooting, breakdown repair, supporting continuous improvement, and managing contractors.

Key Responsibilities

• Put health & safety best practices first in all work ensuring compliance with all health & safety standards and regulations.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance on the full range of equipment within the site.
• React quickly to breakdowns, communicate clearly with affected parties and work efficiently to fix the issue.
• Support continuous improvement by learning from breakdowns and sending feedback and suggestions for improvements through the line manager.
• Provide high levels of equipment availability to our internal customers.
• Support and learn from Senior Reliability Engineering Technicians.
• Manage contractors.

Basic Qualifications

• High school or equivalent diploma.
• NVQ Level 3 / SVQ Level 3 / IVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds Level 3 / EAL Level 3 all specialised in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics.
• 4 years UK certified apprenticeship.
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Mechanical or Electrical.
• Experience with material handling equipment (MHE) safety standards according to OEM and safety standards.
• Experience with robotic operation and maintenance.
