Vishay Italy is currently seeking applicants for Reliability Laboratory Engineer .

In this position, you will define, implement, and/or enhance methodologies and procedures for Reliability testing for Modules and Rectifiers.

Job Location

Vishay Semiconductor Italiana spa is site focused on the design, development and production of power diodes and power modules. There are around 300 employees currently work in Borgaro Torinese Italy. This number is constantly growing due to our expansion plans.

What You Will Be Doing

• To manage Reliability test development according to international standard and customer request.
• To manage Reliability test processes and equipment development working with R&D engineers, clients and suppliers.
• To evaluate test data and results to release reports on product and process reliability.
• To evaluate failures following device analysis and corrective action if needed.
• To support laboratory activities to define roadmap for laboratory test capability and capacity.
• Willingness to occasionally travel.

What You Will Bring Along

• Bachelor’s/master’s degree, Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Knowledge of semiconductor technologies such as Diode, MOSFET and IGBT.
• Knowledge of automation and software programming.
• Knowledge of CAD and possible EDA software.
• Good knowledge of English, written and spoken.
• Good attitude in dealing with issues and requests from Top Managers.
• Good motivation to master new major challenges.
• Good coaching and mentoring skills.
