Regulatory Manager - Airports

As Regulatory Manager, you will shape easyJet's regulatory stance on airport and air navigation charges across Europe. You will develop evidence-based positions, challenge cost developments, and assess regulatory decisions' impact on the business and network. You will engage with regulators, airports, and industry bodies to keep charges fair, transparent, and commercially sustainable. You will build financial models and scenarios to support decision-making with cross-functional stakeholders, making a measurable impact on cost efficiency and network performance.

• Lead consultation responses on airport charges and air navigation regulation at national and European levels
• Represent easyJet in regulatory forums, consultations, and industry associations
• Develop economic arguments and regulatory positions aligned to commercial priorities
• Assess cost proposals from airports and air navigation service providers and challenge unjustified charges
• Build and maintain financial and economic models for regulatory analysis
• Conduct scenario analysis to understand regulatory impacts on costs and network performance
• Provide insights and recommendations to support decision-making across networks and functions
• Build and maintain relationships with regulators, airports, and internal stakeholders
• Monitor regulatory developments, market trends and competitor activity in Europe
• Support a consistent, high-quality regulatory analysis and documentation process
• Provide guidance to junior colleagues where appropriate
• Degree in Economics, Engineering, Aviation Management or related discipline
• Experience in economic regulation, aviation, consultancy, finance, airport operations or similar environment
• Strong analytical skills for financial, commercial and regulatory data
• Experience in financial modeling and scenario analysis
• Ability to translate technical findings into clear, influential recommendations
• Strong written and verbal communication with stakeholder management
• Independent work style with collaboration across functions
• Attention to detail and structured problem solving
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and workstreams
• Knowledge of European airport and air navigation regulatory frameworks advantageous but not essential
• Fluency in English
• Additional European language (especially French) beneficial
