Chemelex has in South Europe a solid market share of Electrical Heat Tracing systems and application. We serve an extensive customer base (end customers, installers, EPC companies) throughout EMEA, with projects varying in size from few k$ to >M$. Project execution in Chemelex typically consists of engineering & design and product supply, but can also include supervision, installation and/or commissioning of our products and systems.

Your main focus as Project Manager will be to lead Project Execution Team within the Region and also manage directly as PM Project Manager some medium / large Projects in South Europe (Italy, Spain, Portugal, Greece, France).

Since we need to be a flexible organization you will have the opportunity to work on Projects having different locations within the Region and in some case also cross regional Projects.

Fluent English is a must together with very good command of one or more local languages (Italian, Spanish, French).

As a PM at Chemelex, you will be working to deliver projects within, scope, schedule and budget. In this role, you will manage medium to larger sized projects which can have a duration from several weeks up to 12-18 months, if not more.

You will coordinate resources and processes part of the Regional Project Execution Team, communicate regularly with all internal parties involved and inform them in a timely manner of new developments or changes.

  • Engineering Manager and Design Centers
  • Finance & Legal Departments
  • Product Management

Your role will include:

  • Being the central point of contact of Chemelex for our Clients, subcontractors and other external Parties on all contractual and operational aspects
  • Monitoring the progress of planning, ensuring that the right people and products are available at the right time and place so that schedules can be met
  • Ensuring all preparations with internal stakeholders (warehouse, procurement, projects controls) are put in place for timely shipment and administration
  • Continuously interacting with the Execution Team working on your project(s).

As PM, you will coordinate a larger team of resources part of Chemelex Projects Operations Team within the Region (i.e. other Project Managers, Project Engineers, Document Controllers, etc.).

You have:

  • Relevant bachelor degree or equivalent experience in engineering

(electrical preferred, not mandatory)

  • You have gained at least 10 years experience as a Project Manager or Project Engineer Manager, in EPC processes within the oil, gas and petrochemical, chemical or energy industry
  • Knowledge of MS Office and you can quickly master new software
  • Perseverance and you are not afraid to take initiative
  • A driving license B
  • Availability to travel within the Region, all over Europe and eventually to Project end destinations when required.
