Position Summary
The Regional Patient Care Partner (RPCP) reports to the Europe Business Director and will act as the primary customer interface in Italy, combining disease expertise, strong stakeholder engagement, and patient-focused initiatives. The role requires execution of sales and marketing strategies while ensuring cross-functional collaboration to support patient care and company growth.
This position is to be filled under an umbrella company arrangement (similar to freelance employment with administrative support).
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Performance & Territory Management
- Lead the Italian territory, contributing to overall European performance.
- Achieve individual and team goals within defined cycles.
- Build strong relationships with healthcare professionals and Key Opinion Leaders.
- Identify growth opportunities and align communication strategies with global marketing and compliance rules.
- Provide regular sales and activity analysis and contribute to strategic planning.
- Patient Care Partnering
- Map patient journeys and healthcare networks across Italy.
- Propose and implement patient-centric initiatives, continuously improving care strategies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure seamless patient support.
- Customer Excellence & Reputation
- Serve as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) in Italy for all company-related activities.
- Engage healthcare professionals with scientific, data-driven, and omnichannel approaches.
- Elevate company visibility by highlighting global programs.
- Work closely with medical, marketing, and cross-functional teams.
- Foster a culture of feedback and knowledge-sharing.
Profile & Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years in specialty pharmaceutical sales/marketing, ideally in orphan diseases.
- Proven ability to work across medical, commercial, patient advocacy, and market access.
- Strong scientific knowledge and communication skills.
- Organizational, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Degree in Life Sciences or equivalent.
- Native Italian proficiency and fluent English.
- Valid driver’s license.
