We are looking for a Regional Operations Manager, based in Venice , who will ensure the seamless execution of all tour operations across the Northern Italian hubs - Venice, Florence, and Milan - maintaining brand integrity, service excellence, and optimal business performance.
Main Area of Responsibility : Venice, Florence and Milan
Key Responsibilities:
- Tour Delivery & Logistics: Ensure all tours are delivered to a minimum standard of how they are advertised online. This includes every tour has a designated guide, necessary tickets, headsets, and transport booked.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular quality evaluations to maintain service excellence and ensure the "The Roman Guy" brand integrity is upheld across all Northern cities.
- Resource Management: Supervise procurement and logistics, including the acquisition & coordination of branding materials, and management of supplier relations and contracts.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor occupancy rates and key performance metrics, driving continuous improvement initiatives to meet or exceed business standards.
- Product Innovation: Act as a product stakeholder, identifying development opportunities based on client feedback and industry trends to keep the Northern Europe portfolio competitive.
- Marketing Coordination: Collaborate with the Marketing team to facilitate photo and video shoots at various monuments and attractions.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in e-commerce B2C
- 3+ years of managerial experience in operations
- Degree in Economics, Business, Management, or a related field
Skills:
- Fluent English (mandatory)
- Mastery of Excel (including PivotTables, LOOKUP functions, Text Functions, Power BI Integrations)
- Data Analysis: KPI creation & management
- Familiarity with Project Management Software: Jira, Smartsheet
