Regional Head of Execution - Biomethane

Reporting to the Managing Director, the candidate will oversee the full execution lifecycle of EP and EPC/EPCM projects across the EMEA region. He/she will deal with both industrial and public/ municipal clients, ensuring the integration and coordination of engineering, project management, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities. He/she will lead multidisciplinary execution teams and guarantee that projects meet performance, schedule, cost, and quality targets.

Main responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a multidisciplinary department, including all the execution-related main functions: Project Management, Engineering, Site Management and Commissioning;
  • Define, implement, and continuously improve execution procedures and best‑practices;
  • Ensure integration and alignment between engineering disciplines throughout the detailed design phase, overseeing technical deliverables, inter‑discipline coordination, and interface management;
  • Guarantee the quality, accuracy, and timeliness of engineering deliverables, ensuring compliance with codes, standards, and project requirements;
  • Monitor project performance through monthly reviews covering cash flow, cost-to-complete, schedule, engineering progress, and procurement status;
  • Lead the resolution of major technical issues, coordinate decision‑making across departments, and ensure risk mitigation across the execution lifecycle;
  • Serve as senior point of contact for clients on strategic or complex projects, ensuring transparency, alignment, and timely communication;
  • Oversee resource planning, workforce forecasting, and team development to ensure adequate technical and managerial capacity;
  • Promote a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement across all execution functions.

Requirements

  • Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical Engineering or equivalent technical field;
  • 15+ years of experience in project execution for industrial plants, with strong exposure to EP/EPC/EPCM models;
  • Proven experience leading engineering and multidisciplinary execution teams;
  • Preferred experience in anaerobic digestion, biogas, renewable natural gas (RNG), wastewater treatment, and/or organic waste processing.
