Regional Finance Director – Italy

A global leader in electric outdoor power equipment is seeking a highly capable Finance Head to lead the finance function of its Italian subsidiary , including the Europe Warehouse Hub , and support the continued growth of its European operations.
This strategic role combines financial leadership, business partnering, operational control, and supply chain finance oversight within a fast-growing international environment.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting commercial expansion across Southern Europe while overseeing the financial performance of the company’s European distribution and warehouse hub.
Reporting to regional and global leadership teams, the Finance Director will be responsible for all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, compliance, cash flow management, internal controls, taxation, and business performance analysis. The position will also serve as a key partner to the General Manager and operational teams, providing insight and guidance to support strategic decision-making and profitable growth.
A significant component of the role involves supporting the European logistics and distribution activities managed from Italy, ensuring strong financial governance across warehousing, inventory management, transportation, customer service operations, and supply chain performance.
The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in finance leadership within an international manufacturing, industrial equipment, distribution, or technology-driven environment. Experience managing finance activities linked to logistics, warehousing, supply chain, or European distribution operations will be highly valued.
We are looking for a hands-on leader who combines financial rigor with commercial awareness, capable of operating effectively in a dynamic, entrepreneurial, and fast-growing business. Strong analytical capabilities, leadership skills, and the ability to influence stakeholders across multiple functions and countries are essential.
Key Requirements
• Proven experience as Head of Finance, Finance Manager, or Senior Controller within an international environment
• Strong expertise in financial planning, reporting, compliance, treasury, taxation, and internal controls
• Experience supporting logistics, warehousing, distribution, or supply chain operations
• Ability to partner with both commercial and operational leadership teams
• Strong knowledge of Italian accounting standards and international reporting practices
• Fluent English and Italian
