Regional Manager - Field Sales Italy
Central Italy (Roma, Lazio, Marche, Umbria, Abruzzo, Molise) Remote/Field Based
Italian & English required
This is not a “sit behind spreadsheets” sales leadership role.
We are looking for someone who understands field sales for real.
Someone that knows what it feels like to build territories, coach underperformers, motivate hunters and grow teams in the street, not only in meetings.
You will manage Territory Managers across different hubs in Central Italy and help scale one of the most important Field Sales regions at SumUp.
The role :
- Lead and coach Territory Managers
- Drive Net Revenue and OOB performance
- Help hubs grow and scale
- Identify expansion opportunities and territory splits
- Improve structure, performance and execution across the region
- Work closely with leadership on regional strategy
- Build a strong high-performance culture
- Support and develop mainly self-employed field sales teams
What matters most :
- Strong field sales background is preferred
- Experience leading managers and sales teams
- Merchant Services / POS / SMB sales experience is preferred
- Ability to coach, inspire and challenge people
- Analytical mindset with commercial instinct
- Comfortable managing remote teams
- Fast thinker with strong communication skills
- High ownership and accountability
This role is for someone that still loves sales Not just dashboards Not just reporting. Not just meetings.
Someone that can still walk into a restaurant, café or local business and immediately understand what good field sales looks like.
