About the position
The Real Estate Development Manager reports to the Sr Real Estate Development Manager and will coordinate the implementation of development plans according to Burger King Restaurants Italy policies, national guidelines, and the objectives of Development Strategy for the reference area.
The position has the responsibility of:
- Development and territorial implementation of the plans of the Development department established at corporate level.
- Achieving the Real Estate Development objectives at territorial level.
- Preparation, review and submission to the Department Director of the real estate dossiers for approval at the Investment Committee.
- Coordination with the Construction department, obtaining feasibility analysis and supporting their activity to ensure perfect construction performance.
- Negotiation of terms and conditions for each project by contacting the principal agents and other interested parties, supporting the preparation of relevant contracts, after obtaining the necessary internal approvals.
- Renewals in rental or company lease agreements.
- Supports Legal and OPS departments in managing problems with the properties of existing buildings or in signing any agreements for extensions or remodeling.
What do you bring
- Up to 5 years of experience in Real Estate Development within the retail, food retail, or QSR sector.
- Availability to cover Eastern Emilia and the Central Italy areas of Tuscany, Marche, Umbria, and Sardinia .
- Proven experience in the scouting, analysis, and development of new commercial locations.
- Hands‑on experience in negotiating with landlords, property owners, real estate agents, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Experience preparing real estate dossiers , business cases, and supporting documentation for internal approvals and/or investment committees.
- Strong ability to assess locations through geographical, demographic, traffic flow, and financial/economic analysis.
- Experience working cross‑functionally with Construction, Legal, and Operations departments on new openings, renewals, extensions, or remodeling projects.
- Strong command of Excel and MS Office.
- Good professional knowledge of English .
- Driving license (Category B) and willingness to travel frequently within the assigned area.
