Summary

Rome Marriott Park Hotel, part of the world’s leading hospitality brands, seeks a dynamic, customer‑focused Reactive Sales Coordinator to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to telephone inquiries and requests for group business and corporate meetings in a timely manner, defining meeting specifics.
  • Convert options and tentative proposals to definitive commitments by anticipating customer needs and ensuring all measures for securing the booking are exhausted.
  • Complete handover of group file to the Event team, ensuring follow‑up with the client within 24 hours of turnover.
  • Suggest positive alternatives and ensure that booked business stays within hotel parameters.
  • Follow up timely on all pending, option, and tentative business to convert to definites.
  • Prepare contracts, BEOs and other related booking tools, and prepare all sales documentation accurately.
  • Assist with customer site inspections for group business in Option or Tentative mode.
  • Assist in other areas as directed by the Director of Sales & Marketing.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales & Marketing, Tourism, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably with international touristic companies.
  • Excellent English (B2) both verbal and written.
  • Good proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with Fidelio OPERA system.
