Summary
Rome Marriott Park Hotel, part of the world’s leading hospitality brands, seeks a dynamic, customer‑focused Reactive Sales Coordinator to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to telephone inquiries and requests for group business and corporate meetings in a timely manner, defining meeting specifics.
- Convert options and tentative proposals to definitive commitments by anticipating customer needs and ensuring all measures for securing the booking are exhausted.
- Complete handover of group file to the Event team, ensuring follow‑up with the client within 24 hours of turnover.
- Suggest positive alternatives and ensure that booked business stays within hotel parameters.
- Follow up timely on all pending, option, and tentative business to convert to definites.
- Prepare contracts, BEOs and other related booking tools, and prepare all sales documentation accurately.
- Assist with customer site inspections for group business in Option or Tentative mode.
- Assist in other areas as directed by the Director of Sales & Marketing.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Sales & Marketing, Tourism, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably with international touristic companies.
- Excellent English (B2) both verbal and written.
- Good proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Experience with Fidelio OPERA system.
