Sales Area Manager – Future Sales Director
We are running an exclusive search on behalf of our client for a Sales Area Manager who will grow into the Sales Director / General Management role.
Our client is a renowned European company with over 60 years of history in the design and manufacturing of premium, high-end office partition walls and furnishing systems. The company still enjoys a very strong brand and offers truly high-level, innovative products that combine avant-garde design, environmental sustainability, and exceptional quality — solutions that are highly valued by architecture studios, interior designers, facility managers, and corporate clients across Europe and beyond.
Following a strategic acquisition by a dynamic investment fund, our client has successfully completed a full turnaround. The company is now solid and operationally streamlined, and entering an exciting new growth phase. They are rebuilding their sales structure from the ground up and are looking for a highly ambitious, proactive, and hands-on sales professional who wants to shape the company’s commercial future together with the fund and accelerate into the Sales Director position starting from day 0.

Your Mission
- Take full ownership of a key sales territory with significant growth potential and drive revenue through proactive hunting and relationship development.
- Rebuild and expand the commercial presence by identifying and closing opportunities with architects, interior designers, and corporate clients in the office-interiors sector.
- Work side-by-side with the investment fund and senior leadership to redefine the go-to-market strategy and sales organization.
- Act as a true business partner: extremely hands-on in the field while thinking strategically and being fully accountable for results.
- Demonstrate the leadership, vision, and execution required to become the future Sales Director.
Profile We Are Looking For
- Proven track record as Sales Area Manager (or equivalent) in the office furniture / partition walls / interior fit-out industry .
- Deep existing network and intimate knowledge of the same type of clients: architecture & design studios, facility managers, and corporate real-estate departments.
- Extremely proactive, entrepreneurial, and hands-on mindset — you thrive in the field, love closing deals, and enjoy building something new.
- Highly ambitious profile with a clear desire to grow rapidly into a senior leadership role (Sales Director) within a privately backed, fast-evolving company.
- Fluent in English and relevant local market language(s); international mindset is a plus.
- Based in or willing to cover a strategic European market with frequent travel.
