RAN Operations Specialist – Nokia
Join Vodafone’s RAN Operations team in Milan, Italy. This hybrid role involves second‑level support for Radio Access Network (RAN) operations and maintenance tasks.
Role Purpose
Within Fixed and Mobile Access Operations, you will manage RAN operation & maintenance tasks, troubleshoot RAN issues, apply procedures and changes to restore service, support field engineers, manage third‑party vendor support, follow‑up on problem management, and execute planned works including configuration changes or software upgrades on RAN nodes.
What You’ll Do
- Troubleshoot issues in RAN technologies
- Restore services when issues occur
- Provide phone support to field engineers
- Manage third‑party support services
- Execute planned works and maintenance windows activities
- Participate in on‑call service rotation
Who You Are
- Strong knowledge of mobile network architecture
- Technical skills on Single RAN node, BSC Air Scale, MantaRay
- Good time management and prioritisation
- Experience with incident, problem and change management processes
- Analytical mindset with a drive for technical knowledge
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent English language proficiency
