Experteer Overview
As the Traffic Management System Lead, you own the full software lifecycle from design to support, ensuring performance and deployability across projects. You will shape IT architecture, cybersecurity, and CI/CD practices while guiding a large international team. You’ll oversee V&V activities and provide product support through project delivery, influencing how we scale safe, digital mobility solutions. This role offers impact on pivotal rail systems and the broader mission of greener, smarter mobility.

- Lead design and development of the Traffic Management System according to program requirements
- Define IT architecture, cybersecurity, and infrastructure strategy
- Manage software development activities including design, coding, and CI/CD
- Adapt engineering methods and tools to updated processes
- Conduct verification & validation activities and performance testing
- Provide product support throughout project execution and deployment
- Coordinate work packages, capacity planning, and risk mitigation with relevant departments
- Monitor, measure, and optimize system performance
- Support reviews and provide KPIs for development activities
Responsabilità
- 20+ years in ICT industries (rail, automotive, aerospace preferred)
- 20+ years managing large international teams (~100 people)
- 20+ years managing complex systems and software development projects
- Strong software engineering background with lifecycle management
- Solid hardware, software, IT systems, and cybersecurity knowledge
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Proficiency in English
- Knowledge of cloud, AI or digital technologies (preferred)
- Knowledge of railway systems (preferred)
- University/Engineering degree in IT, CS, or Electronics (implied)
