Role Overview
This position reports to the R&D Team Lead and contributes to the ABB Electrification Business area, particularly for the Smart Power Division in Bergamo. The role is located in the R&D Laboratory, following the development and management of the validation process on different Low Voltage devices.
Responsibilities
- Define test sequences and execution methods, prepare test set-ups, and execute tests on devices.
- Analyze test results and issue related reports according to applicable standards.
- Propose improvements in existing test techniques and use new test and measurement equipment.
- Assist and support customers during testing activities.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in the Electrotechnical field or Electrical/Electronic field.
- Basic knowledge of Electrical engineering.
- Experience with electrical and mechanical measuring instruments and analysis capacity.
- Computer skills (programming knowledge and office software package).
- Passionate, organized, good at teamwork, high desire to learn, and attitude for problem solving.
- Proficiency in Italian and English.
