R&D Project Manager

Savaré is a growing, worldwide technology leader in Specialty Adhesives, with manufacturing operations in Europe, USA and Asia. To strengthen our global innovation team, we are looking for a:

R&D PROJECT MANAGER

A professional with strong scientific foundations, a passion for innovation and sustainable development, and a natural curiosity toward emerging technologies in polymer science and performance chemicals.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop long-term technical partnerships with key global customers by proposing innovative solutions, supporting problem solving and enabling successful industrial implementation.
• Lead complex product development projects from concept and laboratory validation through scale-up and qualification at customer production lines.
• Maintain market-leading knowledge of technology trends and regulatory evolution through collaboration with universities, research centers, industry working groups and professional associations.
• Contribute to the integration of data-driven tools and advanced technologies to accelerate formulation development and performance optimization.

Requirements

• MSc in Chemistry or related field (PhD is a plus)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the development of performance chemicals and technical project management with multinational customers
• Proven ability to lead complex projects from laboratory development through industrial implementation
• Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams in international environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making
• Familiarity with AI-based tools or digital systems supporting R&D activities is considered a plus
• Entrepreneurial mindset, combined with emotional intelligence and situational awareness, and the ability to anticipate emerging challenges and opportunities in complex contexts.
• Availability to travel internationally
• Excellent communication skills and high proficiency in English
• Strong ethical standards and professional integrity
