Overview

Drive R&D Innovation/Technology: PMMA Depolymerization and Suspension process

• Develop and optimize chemical processes focused on polymer depolymerization, with an emphasis on product quality and efficiency
• Develop and execute R&D projects related to PMMA Suspension process, including Lab and Pilot scale
• Provide technical support to the Suspension plant/process and Depolymerization pilot-plant/process

Responsibilities

R&D PMMA Depolymerization

• Design and implement depolymerization process modifications for PMMA and related polymers (10%)
• Conduct laboratory and pilot‑scale experiments to validate process parameters and product specifications, improve depolymerization yields and product quality, and evaluate feedstock changes (25%)
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate depolymerization processes into existing production workflows (5%)
• Ensure compliance with environmental and safety standards throughout all stages of development (5%)
• Develop and maintain process innovation documentation, including technical reports and SOPs (5%)

R&D PMMA Suspension Process

• Drive and manage PMMA R&D activities/projects (e.g., perform lab polymerizations, chemical analysis, experimental studies) (30%)
• Ensure technical support for the suspension plant/manufacturing (15%)
• Provide and manage customer technical assistance, samples, and complaint support (5%)

Qualifications

Education

Master degree in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Chemical Engineering

Experience

A minimum of 3 years ideally, in polymer‑plastic industry preferred in chemical depolymerization and/or suspension polymerization.

Experience in extrusion/injection molding will be a plus. Overall 5 years experience.

Skills

• Fluency in Italian and English, both written and spoken; other European languages a plus
• Excellent communication, reading, writing
• Proficient with Windows‑based office systems, especially Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
