We are currently seeking a talented Mechatronic Senior Engineer to join our dynamic Engineering Team in Beinasco. In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining and advancing our mechatronic systems and automated equipment, as well as driving the development of new features for our state-of-the-art AGV (Automated Guided Vehicle) family
YOUR TASKS
- Analyze market trends and customer requirements (PRM) to inform and shape future R&D strategies and projects
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives such as PCD (Product Cost Down) and CIP (Continuous Improvement Process) to reduce costs and increase operational efficiency
- Lead and manage the development and implementation of new features for our AGV product family
- Maintain and enhance mechatronic systems and automated equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability
- Collaborate effectively with global R&D teams across different entities
- Providing technical support and support mechatronics-related tasks in customer projects on a global scale as required
GOALS
- Contribute to sustaining our position as a market leader by supporting an innovative product portfolio and maintaining cost leadership
- Enhance the integration of mechanical and electrical systems on equipment to optimize performance and reliability
- Collaborate with and support fellow engineers to ensure successful project completion
- Consolidate and update technical standards, along with essential software and hardware tools, to drive improvements in efficiency and quality
YOUR QUALIFICATION
- Degree in Mechatronic Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role
- Excellent proficiency in English, both written and spoken. Italian and / or German language skills is a plus
- Strong skills in PLC programming, preferably Siemens TIA and Allen-Bradley RSLogix5000
- Programming knowledge in Java, C#, or Python is an advantage
- Proficient in mechanical and electrical CAD software such as SolidWorks, CATIA, and ePlan.
- Experience with motion control technology
- Familiarity with AGV (Automated Guided Vehicle) and AMR (Autonomous Mobile Robot) technologies is highly desirable
- Background in robotics and automation systems
- Well-versed in industry resources, including key suppliers, customer acceptance processes, and competitor practices
- Willingness to travel up to 20% annually
- Strong soft skills including teamwork, problem-solving, adaptability, decision-making, and organizational abilities
Contract: Full-Time / Permanent contract with the company
