R&D Manager - Plastics Compounds

Resina Partners is supporting an Italian plastics compounder in the search for a Senior R&D / Technical Manager to join during a key phase of transformation and growth.

The company:

A solid, family-owned business specialized in plastics compounds .

The role:

Reporting directly to the owners and senior management, you will take responsibility for coordinating and developing the R&D / technical department of the group.

Depending on seniority and capability, the scope may include:

• Immediate coordination of all technical activities, or
• A phased growth into a technical leadership role.

Your mission will be to restructure laboratories, clarify responsibilities, drive results, and elevate the technical function .

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in R&D of plastics compounds
• Strong technical credibility combined with leadership and people-management skills
• Comfortable working in evolving, non-corporate environments
• Open to hands-on involvement, not a purely desk-based role
• Fluent English
