R&D Laboratory Technician I
Responsibilities
- Accountable of delivering formulation and/or analytical and/or testing activity results on time, ensuring quality and feasibility, according to internal standard procedures and requests from internal and external customers.
- Accountable of correct use of methodologies, tools and systems.
- Accountable of following correctly AkzoNobel processes.
- Accountable of protecting AkzoNobel technologies.
- Mantanains and promotes a safe work environment, complies with safety policies and procedures. Follows safe work practices for personal and equipment safety, in both the laboratory and in field. End results are zero or minimum safety incidents and a clean, orderly working environment .
- Documents lab tests results through the Company appropriate reporting system.
Requirements
Educational level
Typically 0-1 years of relevant experience with Bachelor’s DegreeorTechnical High school Diploma (in relevant field, e.g. chemistry, chemical technology, environmental, maths,
Typically 5-7 years of relevant experience.
Experience
- Preferably 1-2 years experience in experimental development and or analytical laboratory being part of team working on projects based on experimental principles & design.
- Preferably knowledge of the Powder Coatings requirements and operations
- Preferably good knowledge of key R&D processes
- Good communication and interpersonal skills; some capability in English communication is preferred but not mandatory.
- Proactive, pragmatic self-starter, high safety awareness
- Ability to think differently and a continuous drive to improve him or herself as well as to inspire the organization
