The Role

There is a new opportunity within our Innovation team: we are looking for a Laboratory Manager, reporting to the R&D Manager, who will be responsible for managing the testing laboratory and validation activities for new products and components, coordinating the laboratory team and ensuring the execution and reliability of experimental testing.

The person we are looking for will be responsible for:

• managing the testing laboratory and coordinating a team of 2 people, supporting their organization and daily operational activities;
• analyzing current testing processes and defining procedures and work instructions for test execution;
• performing and supervising laboratory testing activities;
• validating new components and new products in collaboration with Quality and the Technical Office;
• performing electrical, hydraulic, and thermal tests, product lifetime tests, and component stress tests;
• draft test reports;
• managing the maintenance and efficiency of laboratory equipment;
• collaborating with the Technical Office in the design of custom test equipment;
• coordinating activities with external laboratories and third-party providers for specific types of testing.

You are the right fit if you have:

• a technical diploma (ITIS or similar) or a degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electronic, or similar);
• a solid technical background in electrical, hydraulic, thermal, and pneumatic systems;
• knowledge of hydraulic and thermal systems and measurement instrumentation (probes, sensors, etc.);
• experience in product or component testing and validation activities;
• a structured approach to defining processes, procedures, and technical documentation;
• good organizational skills and ability to manage activities, with attention to priorities and timelines;
• fluent knowledge of Italian;
• a good command of English (B2 level).
