About the Role

R&D Engineer – Mold Technology and Curing Development

Job Purpose

We are on a transformation journey to shape a sustainable future of mobility, aiming to transform into a Sustainable Solutions Company. The articulated product portfolio requires state of the art technology and continuous evolution for capability and efficiency expansion.

Responsibilities

• Organization of Trials in Plant concerning the specific technology validation
• Collection, Analysis and Synthesis of the testing results
• Execution of Simulations to determine optimal curing cycle
• Thermocouple test execution and analysis
• Indirect Material Process Approval
• Support Mold Technology in the validation process (venting type and layout, sipes, etc.)
• Plant Support activities

Qualifications & Experience Required

• Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Industrial Engineering or equivalent
• Working Experience in Tire Industry is a plus
• Project Management & PDCA mindset
• Solid Engineering background
• Presentation skill
• Knowledge of data analysis techniques is a plus
• Knowledge of Python is a plus

Languages Skills

• Fluent in English (both written & spoken)

Soft/Behavioral Skills

• Results oriented, self-motivated, creative and collaborative
• Agility when translating strategies into actionable plans
• Ability to work in team within multicultural environment
