Role reports to: R&D Deployment Materials Sr. Manager
Location: Europe/Middle East/Africa, Italy, Lazio, Rome
Work Location: Hybrid
What you will do
As Materials Scientist, he/she supports projects execution to secure Business, ensures compliance, reduces complexity and optimizes costs of our Kenvue raw material chemical portfolio currently on the market. He/She is supporting executing double sourcing qualification and managing properly the change will occur on current raw material portfolio up to the GCC compilation.
Key Responsibilities
- Supplier Driven Change Management
- Plant Support
- Dual Source qualification
Operational
- Provide technical support, evaluating impact of changes related to the current raw material portfolio
- Evaluate impact on Finished Products
- Projects brief follow-up for raw material qualification
- Prepare Technical Justification/documentation redaction
- Develop Change Control Plans and Deliverables and own Execution of the GCC
- Lab and Pilot batches execution (GMP and screening)
- Accelerated stability follow-up & results analysis and OOS management
Projects management
- Knowledge of the tools Concerto, Tru, Symphony,…
- Stakeholders coordination and follow-up of the activities
- Meetings organization
- Timings establishment & management
- Effective Communication
- Risk identification and action plans proposal
- Escalation to hierarchy and management
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Pharmacy or related field is preferred
- 1+ years of experience in the role
- Ability to work independently
- Fluent English
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Ability in terms of Problem-solving, Complexity management and Decision-making authority
- Ability to collaborate with different areas (global cross functional teams, suppliers)
- Strong passion for science, technology, innovation and problem solving
