Datalogic is looking for a R&D Business Analyst to join the Global Demand Management and ICT Applications team within the Information and Communications Technology Department. This dynamic role focuses on process analysis and the use of tools supporting product development (CAD and PLM).
This position will be based in Datalogic HQ in Lippo di Calderara (BO).
Role Mission:
The mission of the role is to support the R&D function through process analysis, which is essential for evaluating business requests, acting as a bridge between R&D engineering and ICT business objectives, ensuring that product design and development strategies align with both technical feasibility and market requirements.
Main responsibilities:
- Business Needs Analysis: Evaluate and interpret complex business requirements, translating them into technical specifications.
- System Implementation: Design, develop, and implement ICT systems (CAD and PLM) and processes supporting R&D activities.
- Data Management: Safeguard data integrity and accuracy within ICT systems, enabling data-driven decision-making.
- Project Management: Manage ICT projects end-to-end, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with R&D teams, IT departments, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical support.
- Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including user requirements, functional specifications, and process flows.
- Training and Support: Deliver training and provide ongoing support to end-users to ensure effective system utilization.
- Tool Roadmap Support: Contribute to the technical upgrade and optimization of application tools, ensuring operational integrity and business efficiency.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
- Other Languages: Fluency in English.
- Experience: 2–3 years in business analysis, systems analysis, or related fields, preferably within R&D or ICT environments in an international manufacturing company.
Other Skills:
- Software Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel and other business analysis and project management tools. CAD and PLM expertise is mandatory; familiarity with SAP is considered a plus.
- SOLIDWORKS Expertise: Knowledge of SOLIDWORKS, including part design, assemblies, simulations, and product optimization, ideally applied to ICT products such as hardware, networking devices, or consumer electronics is considered as a plus
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, capable of translating complex technical concepts into clear and actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
