Our Client, leader in B2B distribution, is looking for a Quotations Manager to lead the end-to-end quotation and tender process for the Italian market and to supervise quotation activities for our Swiss subsidiary.
What you will do
- Lead and develop a team of 7 quotation specialists,
- Manage and supervise the full tender and quotation process, from document analysis to final submission, validating all technical, administrative, and economic elements
- Translate tender requirements into clear guidelines for internal teams and ensure consistent pricing structure, margin targets, and compliance
- Coordinate with Purchasing, Finance and Category Management to prepare competitive, accurate and compliant bids
- Oversee quotation activities for the Swiss subsidiary, including coordination with outsourced partners
- Monitor key KPIs (conversion, margin performance, response times, compliance) and drive continuous improvement across processes
- Use Dynamics and corporate tools to manage workflows and contribute to digitalization and process automation initiatives
Who we are looking for
- Proven experience in quotation or tender management, ideally within structured organizations
- Strong analytical mindset, accuracy, and problem‑solving approach
- Experience in leading teams
- Advanced knowledge of Excel; familiarity with ERP systems (Dynamics, SAP)
- Fluent English
- Background in B2B distribution is a plus
- Degree in Economics or Law preferred; additional training in tendering or pricing is an advantage
