Headquartered in Dublin, we deliver projects across Europe and have become the most trusted name in our sector. /p pWe are seeking two experienced bQuantity Surveyors /b to join our team on a major bData Centre Project. /b The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the commercial management of the project, taking ownership of cost control, subcontractor management, and client engagement. /p pAs a senior member of the commercial team, you will lead on procurement, oversee multiple complex subcontract packages, and provide strategic commercial guidance to ensure project success. This is a key leadership role, requiring strong technical, financial, and people management skills. /p h3Requirements /h3 ul liSubcontractor procurement – Developing subcontract tender packages from contract information, analysis of received tenders, presenting options to senior management, negotiating with subcontractors, pre-let meetings, developing subcontract orders /li liSubcontract package management – Managing multiple subcontract packages from order through to final account to include remeasurement where required, monthly payments, claims management /li liMonthly Reporting – Maintaining and submitting accurate monthly cost reporting including end of project projections in collaboration with the site team /li liStakeholder management – Attending periodic meetings with stakeholders as required including clients, subcontractors, designers, internal collaborators. Negotiating and closing out final accounts with subcontractors and clients in a timely and professional manner. /li liClaims management – Dealing with subcontractor claims in a timely manner, ensuring claims with the client are submitted in a timely and professional manner in line with contract requirements /li liValuations – Development and submission of external valuations as required, engaging with client representatives and agreeing monthly values, ensuring certification and trackers are updated and communicated to internal accounts team for invoicing /li liResponsible for measuring work packages from drawings and applying rates to work up package pricing /li liManage the project budget as directed by the Project Director /li liManage relevant client communications /li liCompile monthly reports in accordance with procedure /li liAttend monthly commercial and subcontractor meetings /li liResolve client/subcontractor disputes effectively /li liTimely submission of claims/notices in accordance with contract provisions /li liDocument cost changes to the work scopes and prepare monthly valuations and final accounts /li /ul h3Skills, qualification experience /h3 ul liExperience with a main/general contractor is key /li liTeamwork and mentoring within the commercial and site team /li liFocused on results /li liCan do attitude in fast paced delivery centric environment /li li7+ years' experience in a similar role /li liBachelor's degree or relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying /li liExcellent organisation, communication, and time management skills /li liAttention to detail and analytically proficient /li liData Centre experience would be advantageous but not essential /li /ul h3Benefits /h3 ul liOpportunity to work with a Market Leader in the Data centre Industry /li liSupportive career development /li liCompetitive salary package /liliCollaborative team environment /li liPipeline of project growth /li /ul pbWinthrop Technologies Ltd is an equal opportunities employer /b /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
