Quantity Surveyor

Trevi SpA , for construction sites in Italy, is looking for a:

QUANTITY SURVEYOR

Activities:

• ntrol of project work quantities and guarantee the correct preparation of the monthly Progress Report (SAL) and related invoicing to the Client/Contracting Authority.
• Manage and supervise construction costs related to quantities and amounts of various subcontracts, optimizing project costs where possible while maintaining the required quality standards.
• Analyze project costs and budget during execution, monitoring deviations between planned and actual costs in relation to project scheduling.
• Support the Site Manager in project planning and scheduling activities, verifying consistency between planned and actual costs and managing any requests for contract time extensions.
• Review and, where necessary, correct documentation and reports related to the Progress Reports (SAL) and/or delivered materials.
• Support the Site Manager throughout all project phases, from measurement and submission of work progress certificates to their approval by the Client and/or Supervising Engineer, through to project handover.
• Analyze contractual documentation, supporting the Site Manager in negotiation and contract management activities, including the interpretation of contractual clauses.
• Support the Site Manager in interpreting and analyzing Client requirements, in compliance with the offer criteria and considering the risks undertaken by the company.
• Identify and monitor variations and/or delays in work progress, sharing this information with the Site Manager and, where applicable, the Construction Manager, in order to prepare claims and/or requests for financial variations.
• Support the Tendering Department in preparing documentation required for bid participation, including offer documents, contractual documents and Bills of Quantities.
• Review and analyze tender documentation in collaboration with other company departments, with the aim of identifying critical issues and risks related to the specific project.

Requirements:

• Technical degree or diploma.
• Previous experience in the construction industry is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cost control, construction accounting and progress reporting (SAL).
• Ability to analyze costs and manage project budgets.
• Excellent proficiency in Excel.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
