Start date: ASAP | Full-time, long-term project


About the Role:

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join an international EPC contractor on a strategic Oil & Gas construction project at the Port of Rotterdam.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for tracking quantities and progress for Electrical & Instrumentation activities, supporting cost control and planning functions, and ensuring accurate data management across the construction phase. You’ll work closely with site supervisors, planners, subcontractors, and project control teams.

This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a high-level energy project that contributes to Europe’s energy infrastructure.


Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Monitoring job progress and quantities in line with contracts and scope of work
  • Measuring and reporting on E&I quantities, interfacing with site teams and supervisors
  • Supporting planning and cost control teams with data for progress and billing
  • Preparing MTOs, BOQs, and tracking physical progress for reporting purposes
  • Verifying subcontractor progress reports and supporting invoicing processes
  • Contributing to quantity-related inputs in change orders, claims, and final documentation


What We’re Looking For:

  • 3–5 years of experience in Quantity Surveying, preferably in E&I works
  • Solid background in construction (electrical, instrumentation, mechanical, civil, pipeline)
  • Strong understanding of technical drawings, contracts, and work breakdown structures
  • Experience in Oil & Gas or complex EPC projects
  • Excellent command of Microsoft Excel and construction management tools
  • Familiarity with Primavera P6, MS Project, or 3D modelling tools is a plus
  • Degree or diploma in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Construction or similar)
  • Fluent English (written and spoken); Italian is a strong plus
  • Full availability to work on site in Rotterdam
