Position Overview
As Quality Tools Lead, you will report to the Quality Control Manager within the Energy Carriers department at Bioraffineria di Livorno. You will manage and support a team of 10 people.
Responsibilities
- Support the Project Quality Manager / Quality Control Manager in defining the information required for the proper set‑up of quality tools.
- Ensure that QA databases for audit, training and NCR management are correctly established and maintained.
- Coordinate with the Construction IT tools administration department to establish QC databases for Mechanical completion and weld traceability.
- Provide training to operators and coordinators on QA/QC tools.
- Monitor the regular update of QA/QC data, reporting to the Project and department teams.
- Identify discrepancies/criticalities in uploaded data and support the Project Quality Manager / Quality Control Manager in defining corrective actions.
- Define guidelines to standardise quality data approaches across sites and interface with other Quality Tools Specialists.
- Collect experiences to support continuous improvement of quality tools.
- When non‑Saipem tools are used, interface with relevant departments to manage data and provide reporting to Saipem.
- Coordinate with Quality Records Controllers to ensure electronic copies of QA/QC documentation are ready and formatted for client delivery.
- Interface with users and the IT department to troubleshoot issues that cannot be resolved directly.
Qualifications
Education: High school diploma.
Experience: 3–5 years in a similar role within oil and gas.
Languages: Italian and English.
Technical Skills: Quality Management Software, Data Analysis, Quality Tools.
IT Skills: Advanced Excel, Database Management, System Administration.
