Position


We are currently seeking for an experienced Quality Manager to lead our Quality Department , located in Asolo . In this position, your main goal will be to ensure that all company products and services meet the desired quality standards ahead of their release on the market. Moreover, you will be in charge of outlining quality standards, developing related quality control processes as well as understanding our customers’ expectations and needs.


Main Responsibilities


  • Certifications:
  • You will be in charge of several certification processes and related maintenance, including ISO 14001, 27001, 9001 and 45001.


  • Product Certifications & Compliance:
  • In this role, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that all Alpinestars’ products meet all necessary regulatory requirements, legal compliance and customers’ expectations by coordinating the Testing Laboratory, Quality Control and Quality Assurance Departments accordingly.
  • You will keep up to date with related regulations changes and updates at international level, so to optimise our processes consequently.
  • You will oversee our Testing Laboratory’s activities, coordinating testing and quality checks across our R&D facilities and our Suppliers, located in the Far East.
  • Moreover, you will be responsible for enhancing our Product Certification processes in collaboration with External Notified Bodies.


  • Quality Control & Quality Assurance:
  • You will analyse production lots, so to ensure that our products do meet the necessary quality requirements, whilst also analysing returns or claims, optimising our Quality Assurance processes.
  • Your duties will also include new suppliers’ technical qualification, collaborating with them closely at international level.
  • You will also set up, oversee and monitor Quality Assurance related tasks focused on New Products – Particularly with regards to technical product specifications, processes or specific suppliers focused activities (proto samples, for example).
  • Moreover, you will also monitor that all QA processes are correctly implemented in all our suppliers.


  • Managerial:
  • As a Manager, you will lead a team of specialists, coordinating their activities, as well as nurturing the team members, allowing them to grow professionally and technically.


Requirements


  • A minimum of 7+ years’ experience in a similar managerial position within the Quality Department, ideally but not only within the Sportswear and/or performance wear sectors.
  • Experience in working and managing complex Quality related projects within highly international working environments, with both hierarchical and geographical reporting lines.
  • Solid Quality Assurance system knowledge and expertise.
  • Previous working experience in ensuring excellent quality standards on products such as Performance Wear, Sportswear and Footwear.
  • Previous experience in managing teams at both local and international level.
  • Previous experience in managing Reparation Centres will be considered an asset.
  • Proactive and flexible personality, apt to navigate changes and boasting an open-minded approach and attitude.
  • Available to travel.
  • Fluency in English is a must have.
