Aramco Europe’s Italy office oversees a broad spectrum of Quality Management System activities related to suppliers, ensuring their consistent delivery of zero‑defect materials to Saudi Aramco and its joint venture facilities.

The Position

We are looking for a Quality Management Engineer (with specialty in valves) in Quality Management Division at Aramco Europe Italy Office in Milan, Italy.

Main responsibility

Manages and coordinates manufacturers/vendors assessments and inspection services within Aramco Europe Italy Office geographical area of operations and ensure manufacturers comply with applicable quality standards.

Roles and Responsibility

  • Plan and perform the assessment of the Quality Management System of the manufacturing plants in order to verify compliance with quality standards; Align with the technical department approval recommendation.
  • Responsible for the continuous evaluation of the performance of Aramco Europe / Saudi Aramco suppliers by collecting and analyzing data on the SAP System.
  • Perform Inspection of material purchased by Saudi Aramco, by review material and test certificates as well as inspection reports for compliance with purchase order requirements.
  • Qualify, coordinate, direct and monitor the quality monitoring services provided by third‑party contract Inspection Agencies, contractors and their employees.
  • Provide technical support to manufacturers and Saudi Aramco in matters related to Quality.
  • Contribution to review of new or revised Saudi Aramco standards in his / her field of expertise, develop and implement Quality and administrative procedures.
  • Contribution to investigation for the equipment deficiency reported from Aramco operations.
  • Provide quality solutions and inspection best practices.
  • Build a network of partnership to have access to inspection solutions, inspection technologies, know-how, and best practices.
  • Perform other miscellaneous duties as directed by the Supervisor or Senior Team member.

Requirements/ Preferred Experience

  • Holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent.
  • Has a minimum of eight (8) years of relevant work experience, preferably within the Oil & Gas and Petrochemical industry in a multinational environment.
  • Has working experience in manufacturing and inspection of valve commodity, familiar in its design process, and knowledgeable with main international standards used in the industry.
  • knowledgeable on other commodities, such as pressure equipment, piping components / static equipment, instrumentation etc.
  • Possessing one or more internationally recognized certifications such as (or equivalent to) ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, NDT Level II, Coating inspector, Welding Inspector, ASME inspector, API inspector.
  • Familiar with International codes and Standards such as ASME, ASTM, EN, API, NACE, ISO etc.
  • Excellent English skills both verbally and written.
  • Good command in MS Office, preferable familiar with SAP.
