Job Description

The Quality Engineer will provide support to the product development team for quality assurance, resolving bugs, defects and other potential issues and ensuring that products meet customer specifications. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of quality within operations, ensuring that products, processes and systems meet the highest standards of excellence.

Responsible for operating within the Quality Team to promote excellence in terms of product quality and internal processes, also collaborating closely with operations personnel within cross-functional teams.

Reporting to the Quality Supervisor you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining quality assurance protocols and procedures to ensure that all operations comply with established standards. Conducts regular audits and inspections to verify adherence to industry regulations and collaborates closely with cross‑functional teams to identify and resolve quality‑related issues on internal or external NCRs. By analyzing performance data and generating detailed reports, the Quality Engineer helps monitor quality trends and supports continuous improvement initiatives throughout the organization.

This role will lead root cause analyses and manage corrective actions to prevent recurring problems. Providing training and support to staff is also a key responsibility, ensuring that team members understand and apply current quality standards and best practices. Participates in the development and review of project plans and specifications to ensure that quality requirements are clearly defined and consistently met from the outset.

Qualifications

Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline required.
  • 3/4 years of related experience required.
  • Strong ability in reading and interpreting complex drawings/blueprints to understand parameters of components/products.
  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems and standards (ISO 9001, etc.).
  • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills in depth RCA and quality tools experience i.e. fishbone, 5W2H, 5Whys, Pareto, 8D.
  • Full English and Italian

The Successful Candidate

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to serve as a liaison with developers, project managers, and problem solving.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Familiarity with basic GD&T and Lean is preferred.
  • Computer proficiency in Excel and Word required.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
