APR, an international headhunting firm, is proud to represent a historic and prestigious food company based in Bologna with an international outlook.

As the company's Head of Quality and Food Safety, in a continuously growing and innovative environment, you will ensure that quality and food safety best practices are implemented throughout the company. Your ability to network, collaborate, and persuade both within the group and with peers worldwide, at all levels, will be as important as your technical skills.

Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting Food Protection risk analysis.
  • Supporting R&D and Manufacturing to ensure timely, effective, and efficient product readiness with a customer-oriented approach.
  • Maintaining and evolving the Company Quality System towards continuous improvement.
  • Managing the supplier base for all quality-related matters in collaboration with Procurement: qualification, non-conformity management, performance evaluation, sourcing activities.
  • Leading your team to develop their potential and grow your department.

Before you apply, consider:

You have an academic background in food technologies and ideally hold a Project Management certification.

You possess at least 10 years of versatile professional experience in strategic and operational quality roles across various food sectors, developing unique expertise.

You have a proven track record of developing departments in procedures and personnel.

You are familiar with ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, BRC / IFS standards, and Food Protection practices.

Fluency in both Italian and English is required.
