QUALITY CONTROL MANAGER (QCM)

Location: Sigonella, Italy


Position Summary

The Quality Control Manager (QCM) is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the Quality Control Program supporting healthcare facility operations and maintenance services. The QCM will ensure compliance with contract requirements, quality standards, inspection procedures, maintenance requirements, and applicable regulatory guidelines while supporting mission-critical healthcare facilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the project Quality Control Program.

• Conduct inspections and evaluations of operations, maintenance, repair, and facility management activities.

• Monitor compliance with contract requirements, quality standards, and performance objectives.

• Prepare quality control reports, inspection documentation, corrective action reports, and quality trend analyses.

• Identify deficiencies and ensure timely corrective actions are implemented.

• Coordinate with project management, maintenance personnel, subcontractors, and government representatives regarding quality-related matters.

• Maintain documentation supporting quality assurance and quality control activities.

• Participate in audits, inspections, and performance evaluations.

• Monitor healthcare facility maintenance activities to ensure compliance with established standards and procedures.

• Support continuous process improvement initiatives and quality management objectives.


Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum two (2) years of experience in Quality Control evaluation and reporting in construction, facility management, operations and maintenance, or related environments.

• Minimum two (2) years of experience supporting healthcare facilities, hospitals, medical treatment facilities, clinics, or comparable healthcare environments.

• Experience conducting inspections, audits, quality reporting, and corrective action management.

• Working knowledge of facility maintenance, building systems, and quality management practices.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to prepare reports and maintain accurate records.


Required Language and Residency Requirements

• Must be an Italian Citizen or legal resident of Italy.

• Must possess Italian Language Proficiency Level III with the ability to read, write, speak, and understand Italian.

• Ability to communicate effectively with local personnel, subcontractors, vendors, and stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting military healthcare facilities.

• Experience supporting U.S. Government or Department of Defense contracts.

• Experience supporting hospital operations and maintenance programs.

• Quality-related certifications.

• Experience working in healthcare infrastructure environments.
