Quality Control Inspector

We are looking to hire our new Quality Control Inspector. Hiring Location is FLSmidth Ventomatic in Presezzo (Italy). The role foresees to perform inspections at external suppliers and consequently carries out business trips mainly in Italy, but also in Europe, India, China and other countries where the company could expand in the future.
The Candidate will report to the FLSmidth Ventomatic Quality Control Department Coordinator.
Your responsibilites
- Small and medium-sized mechanical carpentry parts
- Medium and high precision mechanical parts
- Casting parts
- Any auxiliary external equipment such as filters, elevators, conveyor belts, vibrating screens, transport systems, piping etc.
What You Bring
The ideal candidate has a solid experience of, at least, 2-5 years in a similar position (e.g. quality control officer, operational quality inspector) in manufacturing companies or Equipment producers.
Knowledge required to be able to:
- read mechanical technical drawings
- know the most used mechanical processes to manufacture parts
- have a knowledge of surface treatments (painting, galvanizing, burnishing, etc.)
- have knowledge of welding techniques
- have knowledge about main regulations/standards for CE marking of products
- have knowledge of the Microsoft Office package
