A growing fintech product is hiring its first dedicated QA Tester . Today developers validate their own code, so cross-feature impacts and regressions slip through. You'd own quality end to end and build the testing function from the ground up.
What you'll do
- Design and run manual + automated test cases for new and existing features
- API testing with Postman (REST) and GUI testing on the frontend
- Build and maintain your own test environment
- Catch cross-feature regressions before they hit production
- Read Kubernetes pod logs to investigate incidents (L2 support)
- Write clear, reproducible bug tickets and work directly with devs to close them
What we're looking for
- 3–4 years in QA / software testing
- Hands-on with Postman or equivalent API testing tools
- Experience setting up and managing your own test environment
- Comfortable reading application logs (Kubernetes a plus)
- Fluent English (Italian a plus)
Nice to have: Selenium or similar automation frameworks, Kubernetes, fintech background, Jira.
Remote, Italy preferred, open to candidates outside Italy Freelance, 12 months, with a path to direct hire Start ASAP
