ABOUT THE ROLE – QA/QC Coordinator (Oil & Gas)

We are looking for a QA/QC Coordinator with solid experience in the Oil & Gas sector to support complex EPC projects.

The selected candidate will be responsible for coordinating Quality Assurance and Quality Control activities , ensuring that project processes and deliverables comply with contractual requirements, technical specifications, and applicable standards throughout all project phases.

Location: Milan

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise QA/QC activities throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with contractual and technical requirements.
• Implement and monitor the Project Quality Management System (QMS) according to company and project standards.
• Prepare, review, and approve quality documentation such as Quality Plans, Inspection & Test Plans (ITP), and procedures .
• Coordinate QA/QC inspectors and quality personnel involved in project activities.
• Monitor inspections, tests, and verification activities during fabrication, construction, installation, and commissioning phases.
• Manage Non-Conformity Reports (NCRs) and ensure proper implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
• Interface with clients, contractors, vendors, and project teams regarding quality-related matters.
• Support internal and external audits , ensuring compliance with international quality standards.
• Track quality performance and promote continuous improvement initiatives .
• Support the preparation of the final quality documentation and project dossiers (Manufacturing Record Book / Quality Dossier) .

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a technical diploma with equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5–10 years of experience in QA/QC roles within Oil & Gas projects .
• Strong knowledge of Quality Assurance and Quality Control processes .
• Experience with Inspection & Test Plans (ITP), audits, inspections, and quality control procedures .
• Familiarity with international standards such as ISO 9001, API, ASME, and other industry regulations .
• Experience managing NCRs, corrective actions, and quality improvement processes .
• Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills .
• Good knowledge of the English language .
