⚡ Then What
We are looking for a QA Engineer to join one of our project team in Milan. In this role, you will be the guardian of system resilience, focusing on performance, capacity, and high availability. You won't just find bugs; you will design the strategies that ensure our critical applications remain robust under pressure, translating complex Non-Functional Requirements into actionable technical objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Define, implement, and monitor comprehensive technical test plans focused on performance, capacity, and high availability.
- Design and execute automated technical tests using a modern stack including Python, Jenkins, Ansible, and Grafana .
- Build and maintain a suite of technical non-regression tests to ensure long-term stability and system integrity.
- Provide detailed reporting using KPIs to communicate test coverage, execution results, and system health to stakeholders.
- Partner with architects, developers, and system experts to identify bottlenecks and resolve complex technical issues.
- Operate within Linux-based environments and leverage AWS cloud platforms for sophisticated testing and deployment.
Key Requirements
- Proven experience in technical testing methodologies (Performance, Load, Stress, and High-Availability).
- Proficiency in automation frameworks and DevOps tools (Jenkins, Ansible, Python).
- Strong hands-on experience with Linux and AWS ; experience with real-time systems is a significant plus.
- Solid understanding of system architectures, networks, and databases, with the ability to tune hardware/software parameters for peak performance.
- Familiarity with performance metrics such as response times, CPU consumption, and network latency.
- Experience managing test scenarios in XRAY and a background in Python (knowledge of C/C++ is a plus).
