to: CTO About Nebuly
Nebuly is a fast-growing, VC-backed startup building the platform that proves the ROI of enterprise AI. Every enterprise function — sales, customer support, HR, finance — is deploying AI agents at scale, and budgets are following fast. But most companies can't answer a basic question: is this spend actually working? Every enterprise deploying AI agents is asking the same question: is this actually delivering value? Today, almost none of them can answer it. The signal that could answer it is right there — millions of conversations happening every day between employees, customers, and these agents — but it's unstructured, high-volume, and invisible without the right infrastructure. Every new data category has created a new software category. CRM turned customer interactions into pipeline accountability. Product analytics turned user behavior into growth accountability. Nebuly is building that same layer for AI — turning millions of invisible conversations into a clear answer on value. Our customers include Oura, CNH Industrial, Vodafone, and Moncler. Demand is accelerating fast, and we're building the team to match. Why this role matters
Our customers are some of the largest enterprises in the world — running mission-critical AI agents that touch millions of users. They chose Nebuly because they trust us to give them an accurate, reliable picture of what's happening across their AI deployments. That trust is built on product quality, and product quality is built by you. This role exists because we hold ourselves to an unusually high bar. Bugs that would be acceptable at most startups are not acceptable here. A broken chart, a wrong metric, a failed deployment — these are not minor inconveniences. They are credibility issues with a Fortune 500 customer. You shouldn't apply if you see QA as a gate at the end of the engineering process. You should apply if you believe quality is a mindset that starts before a single line of code is written — and you want to be the person who holds the entire engineering team to that standard. What you'll do
Own the end-to-end quality of the Nebuly platform — from new feature releases to production deployments across customer environments
Catch issues before they reach customers — proactively test, break things, and surface edge cases that engineers miss
Work closely with engineers and the PM during feature development to define acceptance criteria and flag quality risks early
Own and maintain test environments that accurately reflect production conditions, including enterprise self-hosted deployments
Investigate and reproduce bugs reported by customers, triage severity, and coordinate fast resolution with the engineering team
Build internal QA processes and documentation as the team scales — you are the first dedicated QA hire, and you will define how this function works
What we're looking for
4+ years of experience in QA engineering in a B2B SaaS environment
Strong experience with test automation frameworks (Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or similar)
Solid understanding of backend systems — ability to test APIs, data pipelines, and database outputs, not just UI
Experience testing data-heavy or analytics products is a strong plus
Familiarity with Python, Typescript and SQL — you don't need to be a developer, but you need to be able to read code and write queries
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into the release process
High attention to detail and a genuine intolerance for shipping things that aren't right
Strong communication skills in English — you will work closely with engineers, the PM, and occasionally with customers
What we offer
Real ownership. The processes, standards, and test infrastructure you build will define quality at Nebuly for years. High stakes, high impact. Our customers run mission-critical AI products. Your work directly protects their trust in us — and you'll feel that weight and that satisfaction every day. A high-growth environment. As we scale, so do the opportunities. You'll grow with the product and the company. Competitive pay + equity. Top-of-market salary for a startup role, plus meaningful stock options in a fast-scaling company.
