Purchasing Internship Role:
Reporting into the Procurement & Project Manager you are an essential member of the team and will be involved for checking all incoming goods against delivery orders in collaboration with the warehouse worker, storing all incoming goods and maintain a good balance in accordance to business needs, updating daily receiving in the purchasing system and maintaining the highest level of business integrity in dealing with vendors and delivery persons.
Reporting to:
Procurement & Project Manager – Procurement Clerk
Main Duties and responsibilities:
- Checking and storing all incoming goods.
- Updating daily receiving in Birchstreet E Procurement System
- Updating catalogs, order guides and price lists.
- Generating a Daily Receiving Report, ensuring all goods received are delivered to the correct storage or department.
- Generating a Price Variance Report ensuring all prices are correctly updated
Qualifications:
- Ideally with a university degree in Economics or Hospitality or Tourism management.
- Eagerness to learn and contribute in a dynamic team environment.
- The good knowledge of Italian and English
- Attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills and multitasking approach
Duration : 6 months with additional 6 months renewal possibility.
