Job responsibilities
- Generate and manage purchase orders for the assigned category (leathers and fabrics / metallic accessories / other products).
- Monitor daily deliveries and manage emergencies (delays, non-conformities), activating quick solutions with suppliers.
- Track suppliers’ acceptance tests plans (piano collaudi).
- Define production site of destination for incoming orders.
- Maintain supplier relationships to ensure availability, timeliness, and compliance with agreements.
- Align with Planning, Product Development, and Production to meet production needs and adapt to urgent changes in requirements.
- Verify with technical departments the availability of all technical approvals before order release.
- Manage quality holds, returns, and DIBA anomalies in coordination with internal stakeholders, ensuring adherence to delivery plans.
- Escalate issues promptly to the Purchasing Leader when not solvable independently.
- Contribute to KPI monitoring and support the Purchasing Leader with reporting.
Profile
- Diploma or Degree in Economics, Management, or related fields.
- Previousexperience in Purchasing or Supply Chain (even short-term).
- Basic knowledge of ERP and digital tools.
- Strong command of Excel and Power BI (or equivalent tools).
- English level B2 minimum; French knowledge is considered a plus.
