The project studies the procedural dimension of public international law, with a particular focus on the procedures, actors, and mechanisms through which disputes are resolved and norms are applied in the international legal system. The research focuses on the role of jurisdictional and quasi-jurisdictional bodies and monitoring and compliance mechanisms, with a focus on evolving models of access to international justice, the emergence of new procedural actors, and the interactions between international and domestic legal systems, as well as the challenges posed by climate change, foreign investment protection, ocean protection, emerging technologies, and international security.
