Psychiatrist - International Clinic – Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
Our client is a Family Medical Center located in Vietnam that attracts many foreign visitors as well as local residents for our services. We are seeking a Psychiatrist who is passionate about experiencing new cultures, who would like the opportunity to bring their medical expertise to a different culture, and to treat patients from global backgrounds.

Job Duties:
• Evaluate patients by interviewing patients, family, and others, conducting physical examinations, observing behaviors, reviewing medical history and related documents, selecting, administering, and interpreting psychological tests, ordering laboratory tests and evaluating results.
• Develop treatment plans by determining the nature and extent of cognitive, emotional, developmental, social, and behavioral disorders, as well as establishing treatment goals and methodologies.
• Treat patients by utilizing psychotherapeutic methods and medications, discuss progress toward goals with patients, provide instructions, monitor the effect of medications, supervise staff provision of services.
• Maintain interdisciplinary treatment by reviewing treatment plans and progress, consult and collaborate with primary care physicians, mental health therapists, nurses, and other health care providers.
• Maintain historical records by documenting symptoms, medications, and treatment events, as well as writing patient summaries.
• Update job knowledge by participating in continuing medical educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.
Requirements:
• Holder of a formal University Psychiatry Degree
• Holder of active Psychiatry Practice License
• Minimum 3 years experience in a Hospital Setting after Residency
• Fluent English
• Patient and customer service skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills in English
• Ability to work well in a team
• Ensure all patients and relatives are treated with respect and dignity at all times
• Work efficiently in stressful situations and able to response to challenging situations
