Job Overview
We are looking for a Proposal Engineer to join a solid multinational organization present in more than 25 countries and a leader in the design and production of high‑technology machinery for the Food & Beverage sector.
After an initial period of shadowing and training, you will have a key role in developing technical and economic offers for national and international customers. The position is located in the Eastern area of Milan.
Responsibilities
- Analyze customer requests and technical specifications (RFQ).
- Develop process solutions in collaboration with internal functions (Commercial, Engineering, Project Management).
- Prepare technical‑economic proposals, including cost estimates, layouts and technical documentation.
- Interface with internal and external suppliers to define costs and solutions.
- Collaborate with project planning and define timelines.
- Ensure the quality and completeness of offers, meeting requested deadlines.
- Coordinate with various company teams to ensure correct hand‑off of information and activities to the project execution phase.
Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering or related technical disciplines.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Proposal Engineer, preferably in companies designing and producing technological systems for the nutritional, health/food and beverage sectors, or closely related contexts.
- Excellent written and spoken English for interaction with customers and international teams.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, problem‑solving attitude, teamwork, and ability to manage complex tasks in structured environments.
