Project/Program Manager – EV Infrastructure
Location: Milan
Employment type: Full-time
Initial duration: 4 months, with possibility of extension
Role Overview
We are seeking a professional who will play a key role in the management and coordination of projects related to the installation and commissioning of electric vehicle charging infrastructure .
The position requires constant alignment with all involved stakeholders, oversight of on‑site activities, and supervision of installation teams to ensure high standards of quality, safety, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and guide internal and external stakeholders throughout installation activities.
- Supervise installation teams, ensuring compliance with safety procedures and proper execution of all tasks.
- Validate proposed electrical designs, with particular attention to metering points required for accurate energy consumption monitoring.
- Escalate any deviations from established technical standards.
- Oversee commissioning activities, system configuration, and data accuracy checks.
- Manage project schedules, conduct site visits, and prepare weekly progress reports for stakeholders.
- Perform on‑site audits and daily activity monitoring.
- Collaborate closely with teams such as Operations, Health & Safety, Procurement, Engineering, and external vendors.
Role Context & Purpose
The position is part of a team focused on defining and deploying EV charging infrastructure as part of a large‑scale fleet electrification initiative.
This role is offered as maternity cover and provides the opportunity to contribute to strategic sustainability and clean‑energy projects.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent technical background.
- Proven experience managing complex projects in fast‑paced environments.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in the electrical field.
- Ability to simplify complex technical concepts and communicate them effectively.
- Strong analytical skills and data‑driven mindset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
- Fluency in English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in electrical engineering programs, hardware procurement, or maintenance service contracts.
- Hands-on project management experience onsite.
- Knowledge of the EV charging sector.
- Experience in resource planning and managing large‑scale programs.
- Knowledge of additional European languages.
